WHY ENROLL MY CHILD?
Confidence, self-esteem, focus, perseverance, self-control, leadership, awareness, self-
defense. These are some of the characteristics and skills our students build through our
child development and leadership program. Children who lack confidence tend to be
easily influenced by negative peer pressure, less involved in the classroom and school
activities, and more often targeted by bullies. Some students take our classes to
supplement and improve on their school based sports, such as football and wrestling.

WILL THE MARTIAL ARTS TURN MY CHILD INTO A BULLY?
Actually the opposite happens. Through Shaolin Kung Fu’s Child Development and
Leadership program children learn the value of honor, integrity, discipline, compassion,
humility and responsibility. Through our program your child will learn how to avoid and
evade confrontation, de-escalate a situation, and when the appropriate time is to use
their martial skills.
